- Rt 14 at Harmony Beach-Serious Crash-The West Lake Road Fire Department was dispatched this afternoon to a serious 1 car crash at State Rt. 14 and Harmony Beach. Units arrived to find a small station wagon wedged between two trees just off the road with the driver trapped.
Mutual aid was requested from the White Springs Fire Dept. to cover a Landing Zone but were later re-directed to a Brush fire at Whites Point.
The Geneva FD was then dispatched for a Landing zone at the Seneca Lake Country Club. Once extricated, the patient was transported to the landing zone by a BLS Finger Lakes Crew and an ALS Crew provided by North Seneca Ambulance. Mercy Flight then transported to Strong Memorial. In all West Lake Road responded with Engine 2911,Midi-Rescue 2921, EMS 2961 and a crew of 20 members under the direction of Chief Eric Hansen.

- 5136 Rt 14 - Crash; Unkown Injuries - West Lake Road responded to Rt 14 near Reed Rd for a report of a truck into the ditch, unknown on injuries. Chief Hansen,290, called on-scene in front on 5136 Rt 14 with the vehicle. It was determined to be property damage only and further response was cancelled. A crew of 9 members responded to the station.
- 707 Billsboro Rd- EMS - West Lake Road responded with Finger Lakes Ambulance to 707 Billsboro Rd for a EMS Call. 2961 and a crew of 8 members responded under the command of Chief Eric Hansen
- 4613 Whites Point - EMS - West Lake Road responded with Finger Lakes Ambulance to 4613 Whites Point for a EMS Call. 2961 and a crew of 7 members responded under the command of Chief Eric Hansen
-4649 Rt 14 - EMS- West Lake Road responded with Finger Lakes Ambulance to 4649 Rt 14 for a EMS Call. 2961 and a crew of 11 members responded under the command of Assistant Chief Nate Martin.
-Billsboro Rd-Automatic Alarm- West Lake Road responded to an residential automatic alarm on Billsboro Rd. in the Town of Geneva. Once on-scene units found that smoke from the chimney had backed up into the structure. The owner had ventilated the smoke upon arrival. Engines 2911 and 2912 responed with a crew of 15 under the command of Chief Eric Hansen
-North Kashong Point-Dryer Fire- West Lake Road responded to a report of smoke inside the structure at a residence on North Kashong Point. Upon arrival first units reported a smoke condition which was quickly narrowed down to the dryer. The structure suffered no damage and the dryer was removed and extinguished. It appears that there was a malfunction in the dryer's thermostat. Due to the height constraints of the North Kashong Railroad Underpass, West Lake Road responded with Midi-Rescue 2921 and a crew of 12 members under the command of Chief Eric Hansen. |
